Does circumcision makes penis small? (PHOTOS)

Posting Annoymously for personal reasons.

So when my son was born he was born with a regular or what seemed a "normal" size penis for a baby boy but when they circumcisized him it looks like this now, small or shrinked. Before I get some sarcastic or judgmental answers I'm being forreal, this is my very first baby boy, also circumcision was a personal decision between my husband and I. This was what we thought was best for our baby. And he did great when it was being done. Didn't even cry. I'm just a concerned mother and am looking for a real educational answer. Has anyone noticed a difference in their sons penis after circumcisized? Will ask his pediatrician at his next appt about this...Here is the before and after photos. Thanks in advance!

I asked my pediatrician the same thing. He just has extra groin fat which is common in babies. If you press down on the fat around the groin area, the whole penis will pop out. She said once the baby weight goes away it'll correct itself.

:) the difference in size that you are seeing has 0% to due with the circumcision and 100% to do with air temperature :) you can tell by looking at his scrotum elasticity, warm air / temperature it will be more loose to allow the testicals to be away from the body to stay cooler - the penis will also be more "outside" the body in warmer temps. The cooler the temp the tighter the scrotum skin to hold the testicles closer if not "inside" the body, same for the penis. Think about cold water shrinkage jokes ;)

My son doesn't look like that yet but the Dr already told me to expect it. Like others have said, it's just little baby fat lol.

My friends little boy looks like that and her doctor told her he is just chubby and had a fat pocket that hides it lol. She has to pull the fat back and clean it almost as if it wasn't circumcised

my son got circumcised too. he is my first also but ive also watched babies before also. ive never seen a penis look sunken in like that but it doesn't look infected at all! since im a first time mom i freak out about anything that doesn't look "normal" to me  im dealing with a lip tie at the moment so im already concerned 😕 but i would go back to the hospital you had him at and ask them to have a look and see if it's normal but also still ask your pediatrician like you said you would. good luck ❤❤
