Do you think dreams have hidden meanings or are they just random thoughts in your sleep?

I've been having some interesting dreams lately...🔮?

I always analyse mine and peoples' around me and they always come to something. It's not always direct but I do believe it's your sub conscious trying to tell you something. Once a guy that I was crazy about dropped me and after I had a dream where I saw him with another girl, immediately when I woke I found out he's with someone else already from a msg from my friend. Once one of our close friends was lying about having sex and we were wanting to confront her, I had a dream where we beat her up and my friend punched her in her womanly area, next day she fessed up to it all. She was a virgin. The punch was the 'virginity'. There are more but the one that stuck with me was when I read about a women who studies dreams, got a call from a client explaining she had a horrid nightmare about being stuck in a skyscraper in manhattan with burning walls and fire everywhere. This was recorded down as it's her client and less than a week later the 9/11 terrorist attack happened.

I think it's more about subconscious thoughts, hopes or stress than about meaning.  I don't think my dreams are messages to me or reveal things I couldn't possibly know.

Mine are always weird. For example: my one cat that always hits and bites me became life sized. Like she was about my height, 5'2"-ish. Now if only I can dream about finding a real man and a real job over and over again and it came true! Sorry, Lily but you being life sized would make me a bit scared lol
