seriously lol confused!?! 34 weeks/5 days

Question

Yesterday my friend was helping me try on some dresses and she goes and tells me that my stomach dropped. She then goes and says she use to be able to feel baby up more but this time she is lower.  Does that mean my baby girl is going to come early I really do want her to but then I want her to come on time.
Also all day I've been having stomach cramps and lower abdominal pain every time baby girl moves?  Is that a sign???  Help

Your baby can drop and stay there for weeks before you give birth!  It just means the baby is in a better position for birth later on!  As for pain, that's common because the baby is lower and may hit some nerves and the closer you are to your due date, you should feel more contractions.  The key is if they are painful contractions lasting for one minute each for every five minutes for over one hour, you are in labor.  They have to be painful enough to take your breath away and stop what you are doing.

If your baby dropped that means it's head is in your pelvic bones. You feel like you are walking with a bowling ball between your legs. If you are in pain then always check with your doc. But you will know before someone else does when the baby drops. Both of mine dropped weeks before I had them. One was right on time the other was a week late.
