Mine was a bit of both. I was using the cheap opk's for the first 7 months and on the 8th month I decided to use the clearblue digital ovulation test. I had my peak the morning of Valentine's Day but we had planned a night of making beef wellingtons that night so we literally went upstairs, had a quickie then went downstairs and made tea. That was the night we fell pregnant! All the other times I laid there with my legs elevated for ages.

First pregnancy fracked everything ( CM, ultrasound to check ovulation since I worked at an ob-gyne clinic, timed sex). Sadly it ended in a miscarriage. The second pregnancy, I gave up and stopped trying and it happened.
