It's really hard to tell from a picture. My resting face usually gets me comments like "oh smile, it might never happen" even when I'm very happy inside.

When I struggled with depression, I hid it very well. Nobody knew for almost two years until I finally admitted to myself and let me guard down.

If you are feeling low and depressed, please talk to someone. I'm sure it will be the start to feeling better. I know you will probably feel alone and like no one will understand but people will at least be willing to try to understand you.

It's mostly people that know you really well that will be able to tell. Most people I know with depression look happy in front of people. They try to not show their struggle.
