I'm currently going through a divorce but am in a relationship with my first love whom I reunited with after 17 years without seeing each other. Well last month he basically picked me up in Philadelphia and brought me to NY for a weekend and asked me to stay. I have turned my house in and have been moving everything to NY for the past month and some change. He already asked me to have his baby which we are trying to conceive, but last night I was listening to music. And he just comes out of no where n says So will you change your last name to Suarez? Mind you my last name is Negron from my previous marriage. So I'm like ummmm do you want me to change my last name to Suarez? And he's like well yeah why do you think I'm asking. He's adopting my oldest daughter so he says this " jasmine is going to have my last name soon and the baby will have my last name so why wouldn't you have my last name too? I'm not in this for pleasure I'm in this for the long run! I wanna grow old with you." Sooo I just stood there and was like yeah I'll change it lmbo. I didn't even catch on until he fell asleep n I kept asking myself over n over did he just propose? I tried asking him in his sleep but I don't know if he really meant the yes or if it was just him sleep talking. What do you think? Was it a proposal? I mean there was no ring or anything which I don't care about but he did make me take the ring I had on my ring finger off a few days ago.
