Would u be mad?

Would u be mad if you didn't get a gift for your 1 year wedding anniversary ? I'm kind of upset my husband didn't get me anything or plan anything special.  He was talking like he was going to do something special but here we are doing nothing. He's just on his phone playing games. I'm not even talking about a huge gift. At least a card or something.  Other then him just saying "hey happy anniversary " our wedding night didn't go as planned because he got wasted so I thought he would make our anniversary special 😣😣😣

Been married almost 7 years, my man wants to please, so I tell him exactly what I want and expect down to the details and he goes and makes it happen. It takes the guess work out of the game. Very few times he has let me down. If I want to do something extra special, I make the plans because anniversaries and special moments go both ways.

First anniversary, yes I'd be mad. I'm a pretty simple girl so even a card or a easy home cooked meal would do. Maybe you should do something for him or make plans and just tell him to get ready.

Nope! Mine made me a beautiful dinner and wrote me a beautiful card and to me that was a gift plenty enough. We don't get each other gifts unless it's Christmas or a birthday. Later we may do anniversary gifts but for now we'd rather save up our money for stuff we need:)

For mine I got my hubby a nice watch, He said he was going to spoil me but I nothing at all not even any acknowledgment.

I am still disappointed by it but I love him and he's not a very sentimental man so I let it slide. It's not really harming anyone. As long as he celebrates my birthday that's all that matters

I think it's okay to be upset. Marriage anniversaries I feel like are little different than just dating anniversaries. My husband is not good at gifts or planning things at all and our 6th anniversary is coming up. But he is getting better. Just try talking to him about how you feel and hopefully it's not too late. Go out to eat are a movie or go bowling! You can still make it special :) even if you plan it you'll regret not doing anything

My boyfriend and I both forgot our 4 year the other day.. it didnt effect me any.. but that's my relationship..
