travel while pumping! help!

I have a trip planned for this week, I only pump once a day but that once is SO important! My questions are, should I bring a manual pump for those pinchy situations where I don't have a plug? Or just bring my full on pump? And any tips on breast milk storage? I've seen people saying bring a cooler and store the milk in that but idk how that would really work does it keep it cold enough? I have a long travel time so not sure how to go about it
