My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years now. He is from New York and I'm from Michigan. Last year, my boyfriend moved to Michigan and then recently we've moved to New York. Since being in New York for 3 months, we've learned and realized that Michigan is definelty the better place for us to be as far as financially. We are wanting to move back to Michigan, but we aren't sure how to approach his family and tell them that we will be moving back. My boyfriend is scared that they'll hate him for it. Does anyone have any advice on how to talk about this to them?
