I got chlamydia from my boyfriend when I was 17, found out when a group of my girl friends went to a free std clinic as a bit of a joke and 3 out of 5 of us had it!! The doctor called it the 'common cold of std's'. 
I would never have known if I didn't get checked because it can be completely asymptomatic!!! Get checked ladies, chlamydia leads to infirtility! It's nothing to be embarrassed about.

I've never had one. I've been treated for one tho cuz this dumbass doctor didn't know what he was doing 😂 I had sever pain in my lower stomach and was peeing a lot. I went to the hospital and as soon as they heard I was sexually active they did a Pap smear and took cultures. The doctor then came in and said "I think you have chlamydia, we're going to treat you for it" I'm just like fuck ok do whatever I just wanna be out of this pain. He gave me 2,000mg of azithromycin and I was on the floor. My stomach was on fire I thought I was going to die. I went home and got rested and the next day,I ended up going to a different hospital and they said I had an infection in my uterus. Same thing happened. Gave me a Pap smear, treated me for the same thing. Had to wait on test results. Two days passed and the hospitals finally called me and guess what, all my tests came back negative and they had no idea what was going on with me. I went to my gyno the next day and I told him what happened, and he was astounded. He said that what everyone was thinking was an std was actually a yeast infection and what was causing the pain and frequent peeling was a flair up of my Colin. 3 Pap smears in 4 days a record in my book. 😂 Needless to say I don't trust these hospitals very much anymore 👌🏼
