I used evenflo. People have bad reviews but I have personally liked them. Just not the infant car seat base connection. The strap gets stuck sometimes. And I need my husband to release the strap adjustments. But now I have the convertible one and its way easier.

My cousin gave me some great advice when I was looking: 
Every car seat passes the same safety tests
Look for one that is easy to install
Make sure it is easy to clean
Car seats are tested with the accessories they come with so do not use ones bought separately
