Do you ever feel like you need to compete with your SOs kids for attention?

My boyfriend has two kids and an ex-wife in town. He asked if he could spend some time with them tonight, since it is his birthday. He asked for my permission. I said that is totally fine. We were supposed to go out for supper for his birthday, but I would never come in between him and his kids. So far, I never feel like I need to compete with his kids. But do you, if he had kids from a previous relationship?

Sorry to say but when you date or marry someone with kids, you need to know that his kids come first. You just don't get the man but you get the whole package.

My personal opinion i can't see myself dating  someone with a previous family for many reasons not judgement at all, butttt i think he should always put his kids above anyone else. If you had kids with him, & y'all broke up, would u like him to focus more on his kids or on his girlfriend? But if i was in that position i would talk to him & tell him how u feel also for him to give u time too since y'all had plans for his bday already.

Never.... and my husband doesn't feel that he has to compete for my attention with my kids.... plus when he is home he pays me no mind until it's time for the kids to go to bed so from the time he walks in the door till bedtime I'm ignored while the kids are playing around and reading and talking his ears off... I usually use that time to do something for me like long bath or shower or hair removal

That's mostly him with boys I don't take pics of him with girls cause he won't let me but he has tea parties and even let them out ponytails in his beard and a few times paint his nails 😂😂😂
