Can a female get pregnant this way?

I know a female who told me she wants a baby so bad that when her man pulls out she goes in the bathroom and puts his sperm in her can she get pregnant this way for some reason I thought I heard once air hits it it's no good? Ps I have told her this is wrong as hell and I will probably loose her as a friend but I'm going to tell him tonight.
