Does anyone take the depo provera shot?

I talked to my doctor about it but want to hear from people who've done it...did it make you gain weight or did you have any side effects? Does it cause inferility?

I was on it for 9 months. Had a period the whole entire time 🙃🙂🙃🙂 doctor kept telling me "it'll stop", and it indeed did.... when I didn't go back for another shot :-)

I was on it for 3 years , I gained 115 lbs but college was a factor with that as well. Side effects I didn't really have any after the second shot. First shot I had discharge and sex drive was completely gone along with vaginal dryness . After the second shot everything went back to normal and my period stopped .

hated it... i couldn't eat good my appetite lossss.... had mirgraines , had a lot of spotting ... it wasn't good for me at all.... just depends on each person because some react differently
