Swollen feet.. cankles...shoe recommendations?

Hello ladies! My piggies are starting to get swollen! I'm still working for another 4 weeks... In a hot school with no AC! Lots of walking around as a teacher! Any suggestions for comfy shoes? I can wear sneakers if I get a doctor's note.. but I'm thinking it will be too hot soon!

I'm a teacher too with the same problem. Flip flops and sketchers go walks. Super comfy and they come in wide and the wide is very roomy. They come in all kinds of styles, some that would even look dressy enough for work.

lol I'm in flip flops or slippers all the time my shoes will not go on what so ever It's really annoying

Always go a size larger... I like toms or the tom look a likes from Target 👍 your feet, ankles, etc will go back to normal just a week or so after birth

I'm 8 mos and I have swelling with any type of strap shoes. I'm wearing my foam sketchers from now til delivery. 
I had to elevate yesterday from wearing Borns which I thought was going to be comfortable but my feet and ankles swoll over the straps.

Crocs! :) They sell some that look like regular shoes and are super comfy. My solution has been:
1- crocs
2- elevate your feet every chance you get 
3- throw a sliced lemon in your water 
4- drink drink drink. 
I know it sounds counter intuitive but drinking extra water will actually reduce swelling.

Another thing to look at, is the clothing you're wearing on your bottom half. When I started working from home, I swapped my maternity jeans for some nice and loose maternity shorts, and my feet went from elephant stumps back to their normal selves, and haven't swollen back up since. If you're wearing trousers that hug your skin, it might be worth switching to something a little looser and cooler. I honestly didn't realise it would make so much of a difference.

I spent the afternoon at Nordstrom rack with this same dilemma, and found a surprising solution--Crocs! Their Lina flat looks like a real shoe, and is both roomy and super cushy. Online right now for $20! As a teacher myself, I could feel the difference--shoes I'd want to be in all day long. Normally I'm a tieks lover, but my swollen feet are no longer loving the elasticized opening come mid-day! Good luck!

Teacher here too! I rock Tom's and find them to be comfy and easy to wash if they get sweaty!
