Does anyone know what this is? Its been there for like 2 days and it's really painful.

I get those! Cysts for me. The dermatologist said not to worry but if it bothered me I could get it drained there. But they go down and I pop them too. Only had an issue when it got infected once (hadn't ever popped it then). Haven't been big for years.

It might be a boil. I wouldn't reccomend popping it or applying anything to irritate it in case it gets infected. If it gets bigger in the next day, have a doctor take a look so that they can possibly drain it.

If it's a ball under the skin that your skin rolls over and it doesn't move it's a swollen lymphnode and needs to be checked by a doctor to rule out certain things. I got a staph infection under my arm and it looked like the picture and it was SO PAINFUL. I had to get I drained and I had to be treated with antibiotics. Don't mind my armpit is was super irritated.

My bf sometimes gets lumps that look just like that in armpits. They're tender to the touch as well & irritate him. He is often given anti biotics by docs & they've told him could be from sweat (he's a builder so constantly sweating) also the fact that his diet is quite poor something about too much sugar. Nothing was definitive they just told him what it likely is but anti biotics cleared it up but don't prevent them from coming back. Unfortunately, can't get him to cut down on the sugar or eat healthier 🙄 working on it though lol!
