Okay so I'm about to be 18 and have a baby who is about to be 2, me and my child's father broke up a year ago, and I haven't dated or anything like that. Well he started dating this girl around November and ever since then has been telling me that I need to get out and date and that it's stupid that I don't want to. (I feel like it's not his business and I honestly don't know why he bothers talking to me, he has barely nothing to do with me and his child) anyways I feel like I have all the time in the world to date WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT, right now I'm just focused on getting my GED, going to college, and eventually getting my own home, I prefer to wait and date once I have my life together and once my child is older and I've told him all of this but he says I'm stupid for waiting. I don't understand how???
