do you think love starts at a certain age or do you think love can happen at any age?

I guess I interpreted this differently. Obviously you can fall in love no matter how old or young, but obviously that doesn't mean all love should necessarily be legal. Apparently a lot of people are thinking of this as a pedophilia/age of consent type issue whereas I was just thinking that yeah sure young people can fall in love and feel love obviously. Can't put an age on when love becomes "real".

What kind of love? I loved my parents at a very young age, but not romantically. I had my first crush on third grade on a boy my age, and to a third grader, giggling at a cute boy and running away from him is love. But I didn't actually fall in romantic and sexual love until I was in college.

Love for family, friends etc.. No, I think people are born with the ability to love that way... romantic love, yes.. I believe that comes later as you age and mature to understand the role a partner may play in your life and what it means to be 'with' another person romantically, emotionally, and physically.

The only time age would be a restriction for love is if one of them is underage.

Over 18? Do whatever. I've been with people way older than me. It's what I like. I've been with my SO since I was 18. We have 14 years between us and have a baby on the way. Couldn't be happier! He takes care of me and I look after him. We just work.
 
Under 16, I have issues with people dating anyone more than a few years older than them because you don't always have the experience to tell if a relationship is healthy or not at such a young age.

It's not so much about age as it is about maturity. 
A person can feel a strong sexual or emotional attraction at just about any age, but that doesn't mean that person is really in love, or that the feeling is even real love. 
With maturity comes the ability to tell love from lust, a healthy relationship from a toxic one.

So in highschool I had this automotives teacher. And he liked younger girls. Well 
Off and on after I graduated we talked and flirted. Well eventually I moved on. 
He is now married (40 something) 
To a girl who graduated 2 years after me and theyre expecting their first child in September. 
He no longer teaches at the school.
