Need advise from Nurses and/or nursing students.

My SO failed an exam Monday, which failed him out of graduating this Wednesday. He just informed me that because he failed a previous course (not the same one, but he retaked the course and passed) that he was dismissed from the school and could no longer get his degree.

This was his last year last semester. He was paid over 40k in schooling. So now he cant do anything about it? All that time, all that money, is just gone?

How can we fight this? Has anyone haf to deal with this?

Please help. Any advise is welcomed and I am most greatful.
