DUDE WTF , LIKE COMMON SENSE OR

So my friend recently told me she had contracted chlamydia from " having a yeast infection and not treating it in time " . I kind of did some research while we were on the phone , and I was like I don't think so , aren't they two different bacterial infections + chlamydia is a STD ? Idk guys help , I'd like to approach her with the correct information . She like totally belives that it's true because that what her doctor said . I'm just like what the heck the whole time 🤕
