increase in bowel movements

Okay so this might be TMI, I don't know. Yesterday I had 4 or 5 bowel movements they weren't runny but it was strange for me because I usually just have one every couple days. I'm 38+5, I googled that it's a possible symptom of labor but I thought it would be runny if it was that? I'm a FTM so I literally have a new question every day lol. So is this normal? Is it a sign labor is near?
