Birth Control Side Effects??

okay so basically i just started birth control on sunday!! I have gotten a few pimples here and there and i'm pretty sure birth control is supposed to stop acne? im not sure if i should wait it out or not because it's only been a few days. my friends told me sometimes you break out at the beginning of the pill but it clears up. let me know if you have more info on this or advice!
i've also noticed a change in my appetite and i'm not sure if it's cause i just finished my period or because of the pill? i've been eating a lot more than i usually do and i've been hungry so much more.
any suggestions on what i can do? by the way th pill i take is Vestura!!
