sterilizing bottles or no!?

First time mommy! I registered for a bottle sterilizer and dr brown bottles as im reading all this I'm thinking will I really need to sterilize the bottles or just use my dish washer???? Help I don't know what to do

I think dishwasher is fine, but I also bought these bags at target that are made to sterilize things. Just put in some water, throw it in the microwave and you're good to go. You can use the same bag like 20 times and it comes with around 10 or something. I don't think it cost more than 5 dollars. So there's that option.

Dishwasher is fine. I don't have one so I just wash them in hot soapy water and rinse really well. I've done that for all of my kids (3) and I will be doing the same thing for this baby.

I use it but it's not really necessary for healthy babies.
It's recommended that you sterilize stuff before first use but you can do that by placing them in boiling water for 5 minutes. They can then be cleaned with warm soapy water and left to air dry or placed in the dishwasher between uses.

I don't like putting the baby stuff with the dishes so I run them in the sterilizer and keep them in it till I need them. I breastfeed and occasionally pump so we don't have much stuff. I do have a small microwave thing for the pacifiers which I use everyday.

I use the sterilizing steam bags. You just pop them in the microwave for a minute or two and your done! Or you can simply boil them in water for 5 minutes. I always sterilize anything new or that gets used a lot.

I just pop them in the dishwasher! Lol. I'll hand wash them with a bottle brush for the most part, and then dishwasher once or twice a week.

I keep a sink of soapy water ready all the time, and just throw the parts in there if I can't wash them right then but usually it doesn't take me but 5 minutes to run the hot water and use a scrub brush. I use the Norwex towels to dry everything, the ones that sterilize with silver. My bottles still look brand new! Plus the soapy water helps reminds my husband to wash his dish, hehehe! I did, however, have to boil the soothie pacifiers every now and then, my black lab decided he needed a pacifier like his baby brother. Rofl, my poor kid...

I've used a dishwasher for all of mine, also hand washed when needed and let air dry.
