How many people were at your baby shower?

I'm having my baby shower this Saturday. I invited around 50 people. 40+ said they were going originally a d now I'm getting a ton of cancellations! Talk about frustration!!

Im having my 2nd shower Saturday, with 15-20 people. Many people that said they would show up, most likely won't (some did the same for my wedding). I wanted to keep it small, I don't like large crowds or being center of attention so smaller is better for me. My first shower had about 30 people, most of who I didn't know there (in laws family and friends) and I was miserable. I think with any party, people will say they are coming and cancel last min.
