Gestational Diabetes

Erin
I will be 36 weeks next Tuesday. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes when I was 29 weeks. Here the past couple of days, it seems my numbers have been getting better. They aren't really lower, they are just better. I had never really tried certain things to see what it would do to my sugar but the past two mornings I had eaten a granola bar and a apple and a muffin for breakfast and had gotten a 105. Next morning ate just an apple and a muffin and got an 80 two hours after. Last night I even ate a piece of pizza and two slices of Italian cheese bread and two hours later got a 94. Is it normal for numbers to get better as you progress?
