Breakups

Wanted to approach the community for some post break up advice. I just broke up with my boyfriend--we dated for about a year, but it was a year of me giving and him taking. Was totally head over heels for him but everything was always about him. It turned into me essentially paying for everything (including his bills) and taking care of him endlessly without reciprocation. I know I needed to get out of there but I am so heartbroken and feel guilty about hurting him with the break up.
