I've gained 12 pounds and I'm 23 weeks. I was barely gaining anything and then in the last month I gained SEVEN pounds! 😳😳😳

I gained 15 pounds and I'm 22 weeks. I don't think that's bad at all. My obgyn told me I'm doing great. She wanted be to gain 28-40 pounds total cause my starting weight was underweight. If you were normal weight it would probably be 25-35 pounds and I say your gaining weight just fine. Your body needs it for the baby.

I gained 6lbs this last month. My nurse said that's healthy! I told her I felt like I was gaining too fast (20lbs total so far) and she acts like it's no big deal?!?!?! I do have a bigger boy but still, this is insane!

My doctor said I have nothing to worry about cuz my baby and belly is growing just fine but it's weird because the last 3 appointments I have only gained .2 pounds cuz  3 months ago I was 160.0, the next month I was 160.0 gained nothing and this last appointment last Tuesday I was 160.2 so I don't think I'm gaining enough weight I'm eating good and not exercising with no sickness so I just think it's weird. I am 20 weeks exactly today. They said if it continues I'll have to see a nutritionist what can I do to help me gain more weight.

And staying on the "lower end" doesn't apply for everyone. If you were normal weight before u started and that's all u gained you are fine. Ask your doctor if you are worried. I gained 35 pounds with my last child and lost it all after birth, and I'm doing great with my second.

No, not really. I mean should always try to stay on the lower end of weighr gain, but I was told by my doctor that about 1lb a week is okay.

With my first I gained 60lbs....and lost it all within 2 weeks after he was born. My second I hit 30lbs and lost a couple lbs before I went into labor....took me 2 years to lose it all. This time the 5lb gain in a month worried me, although it doesn't seem to worry my doctor.
