Tons of fertile CM but negative OPK?

This is my first month actually paying attention to my CM so I'm still trying to understand all of it. I've been having a ton of fertile CM but this is my negative opk. Soooo do people get a bunch of this CM a few days before ovulation? I'm confused. Sorry for my ignorance in this matter.

Absolutely. And it's a good thing. If you are having lots of egg white cervical fluid, your chances of getting pregnant are much better then someone who doesn't get much, or only gets it for a day or 2.

It's normal to have fertile cm before ovulation. That's why they call it a fertile week as sperm survive the best infertile cm.
