Who paid for your wedding?

100% we did. We're in our 30's so didn't see a reason for our parents to pay.

I didn't know how to vote. My parents paid for the wedding. My husband's family paid for the tuxes and the rehearsal dinner. My parents wouldn't let us contribute (I had just graduated from college). When making decisions for the wedding I was very conscious of the price tag since my parents paid.

We probably paid about half/half between us and my parents. And 10 of his family travelled from england to australia for two weeks to be there, so id say they  contributed too!

My parents had made a savings account for me to pay for my school. I didn't use all of it, so the remainder was able to cover the wedding! I put "us" since it was now my money to do what I wanted, but it originally came from my parents. My in laws never even offered to help.

All on my mom, unfortunately. My fiancé and I helped by doing the invites and stuff but we just don't have the money to afford the venue and dress and such. My dad died years ago and my fiancé's parents are assholes and completely useless so they didn't even congratulate us. My grandmas are helping where they can as well and I'm trying to keep it as budget friendly as possible for her but she still needed a loan. She obviously isn't upset but it makes me feel bad since I don't like asking for money ever.
