On 4/24 I had my anatomy scan. They couldn't view the bladder because she relieved herself. When the US Was done, the tech told me they might have me come in for more views of the heart because she couldn't see the whole thing. It made me very nervous because I work in the medical field and I know they can't say if anything is wrong because they're not a DR. And can get in big trouble for a false information. The NP called the next days saying that the uS looked great and I only needed to come back for views of the bladder and I could do that at my next appointment. So I went back on 5/4 for an appt with my dr and a follow up ultrasound. The tech checked the bladder real quick then went right back to the heart. She took many shots of the heart then told me to have a seat in the waiting room. She said she was going to send the images to the radiologist right away and let me know if they need any additional shots. I went back to the waiting room and 5 mins later she calls me back for more views of the heart. Following the US I had my appt. I asked the dr if everything was ok with the heart and she said they didn't say anything to her so she assumes so. The next day the NP calls me and says the follow up looked great, they were able to see the bladder and stomach. I said what about the heart? They kept calling me back in to see the heart. She said there is nothing mentioned in the report about the heart and the previous report states the heart looked normal. I went on my portal to view the reports and there is no mention of the heart in the 2nd report. Why would they scare me like that and not say anything? I feel like they're keeping something from me!
