too early for family time ?

My baby is 7 weeks old he hasn't had his 2 month shots yet but it's so nice outside today I wanna go do something with me the baby and my husband !!! But I don't want to risk my baby getting sick ... what about you ladies what do you think ?

My son was out and about the day we left the hospital we went and got something to eat stopped at a store for a few things we needed the went home. He was out a lot by the time he had his two month shots we just kept him covered up or if he was uncovered nobody was allowed to touch him or to get super close.

My LO is nearly 9 weeks and is having her jabs this week.  We have been going out doing things and seeing people since she was 5 days old, have been into work, out for dinner, round friends and families houses, swimming and to a children's petting zoo with my niece and nephew. She had been absolutely fine and getting out and about has done us all good including her

I think going for a walk or a picnic would be perfectly okay. As long as a bunch of strangers aren't touching or breathing on baby, it'll be fine. I'm sure you'd all like to enjoy the fresh air!

My ped said nothing til the shots. But if its just you and hubs and baby maybe a picnic or a walk outside, something thats a family affair but free of others grubbiness might be fun!

My daughter was born with low weight and her dr said no shots until she was over 10lbs which didnt happen until after 11 weeks old she got her first shots at 19 weeks exact but before then we were out quite a bit life doesnt just stop when you have a baby groceries still need to be bought our son still needed to see his mawmaw and uncle and my dad about 3 momths old i took both of the kids to the park it was just us there so no worries my mom and brother came to visit when she was a week old for xmas

I take my daughter with me everywhere.  Shopping... for walks. I just don't let everyone touch her. Lol

We took mine to a mall so I could buy myself capris because I was in leggings when I was pregnant with him lol we just kept his car seat covered the whole time since he stayed asleep the 2 hours we were there.

Go! Enjoy!! I wouldn't take baby to a concert, but out somewhere that's not insanely crowded is fine. We went everywhere the first week! I was determined to learn how to navigate life with a baby, so we spent the week that my husband had off going places so I could player her in and out of the car seat, figure out how to use the stroller, everything!
