swaddle question?

Hi mama's... when do or did you stop swaddling your baby? My baby is 12 weeks and only sleeps well when she is swaddling I know I need to stop soon before she starts turning and I have also heard to stop after 12 weeks... which is true?

My son will be 12 weeks on wed and we have started the transition out! We put him in this swaddle in the pic last night and he slept 11 hours. Also just ordered some zippadee zips which they can wear and roll over in. You can get the below swaddle at target

My baby is 13 weeks and I still swaddle her. She sleeps so much better when I do. Once in a while she will break out to suck her fingers but I just wrap her back up Lol.

I don't think you have to stop until they start rolling over. I noticed my girl (now 13 weeks) had been breaking out of her swaddle at night and she recently found her fingers for sucking. I started leaving one arm out for a few days and then when she broke out the other arm, I've been leaving both arms out for the past few nights. I'm still swaddling from the chest down, although I don't really know what that does other than provide an extra layer. There's been no change in her sleep patterns since both arms have been out. So probably won't go back to full swaddle and I'm glad she's learning to self soothe. She's still in our room and I want to transition her out around 14-16 weeks but wanted her to be able to self soothe.

I stop swaddling as soon as I got out of hospital so from 5 days. Now he hates it. Every baby is different

My daughter sleep soooo good when swaddled I don't want to stop haha 
I think it's fine to continue unless your worried about them rolling over? She hasn't even tried to roll over yet so I'm gonna keep doing it until she shows interest in rolling over I think!

I have been using baby merlins magic sleep suit and it's been working really well. It's like a sleeping bag with arms and legs. My 10 week old sleeps from 10:30-7:30
