baby shower! anyone do it early?!

Has anyone done there baby shower early?!
Like 6/7 months pregnant?!
Because I had my son four weeks early my doctor feels like I could go into labor early with my daughter! Even though all pregnancies are different I want to be prepared.. is it totally crazy to do my shower 2 weeks before I'm 8months pregnant?! The upside is that I won't be TOO BIG an it's a summer shower so i won't be as cranky either Lol (I hope) 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

I'll be 29 Weeks when we have ours. Due 9/22... we want time to be able to get anything we don't receive as a gift.  Also there's a good chance I'll deliver early.

I'll be in my 29th week at my shower  due to travel plans, and the start of the school year (my husband and I work in the schools). Not my first choice, but I'm not planning it, so I have to sit back.

We are having ours in June! Will be right at 7 months. We are moving at the beginning of July  hours away, so it's just what worked best for us and our families!

I posted this same question earlier lol. I'm thinking of 32 weeks. With my son I did the shower at 34 weeks and he was born 6 days later. I received a LOT of cash and gift cards but didn't have time to get anything before he came.

Doing mine at 33 weeks. I would say anywhere from 6-8 weeks before your due date sounds about right:)

Doing mine at 27 weeks because I live in Washington state and my husband and I will be traveling home to Pennsylvania in June to see our families while I'm on leave. I'm excited to do it early because it will give me so much time after to figure out what I still need and I won't be overwhelmed. A little bummed my belly won't be quite as big, but oh well :)

When I had my first baby shower 7 years ago, I gave birth to my daughter early 7 & 1/2 month. And when I had my shower everyone was like u don't even look pregnant and I'm like 😒 I'm not I had the baby 2 weeks ago. But I don't think it's so bad to have it early if your high risk and your doctor says you might go into labor early.

I had my first 6 weeks early, so only had a family shower & didn't get to do a friends one. Do it early!

Mines is next month on Father's Day(June18th)! I'm expecting twin girls September 19th but will probably be delivering early!

My family lives in different states. We are flying home later this month, and my husband's family is throwing me one. Super early but really thoughtful and really my only option before baby comes.
