5 days late!

So I'm currently 5 days late. Ive taken two $1 test and both looked like they were negative.. I did take them in the afternoon. I've had typical period symptoms but have yet to start? Glow has never been wrong about what day af will start. My hubby wants me to wait 2 more days before I test again. Should I splurge on a more expensive test and test in the am? Or should I wait a few more days to see if I start and then test?
