irregular periods while breastfeeding?

I'm 8 months pp and still EBFing. At 5 month pp I got my period back and last month I didn't get my period we hardly did the deed last month to make me think I'm pregnant. But has anyone heard of irregular periods while breastfeeding? My last period started 3/25

Yes, just had my 8 month pp check up and obgyn said you will have irregular periods until you're done breastfeeding. I got mine again 3 months pp and they have been irregular eveymonth. It's nerve wracking and annoying - but won't be like that forever

From my understanding you can be irregular while EBF. I am almost 6 months pp and still have not gotten it back.

Perfect post question...I'm ebf and got my period back close to the 6 month mark.. My period is "late" so I'm thinking I may be pregnant. I doubt it but I'm hoping it's just this

I got my first period at 11 months postpartum and it took 8 months for it to regulate to a consistent cycle.

My only issue is the fact I'm cramping in the pit of my stomach. Lol. Not sure if it's period cramps or pregnancy cramps. I tested at work a couple days ago and it was negative.
