No, you have a baby.
Maybe I'm just extra hormonal today. I'm not sure. But this really made me angry.
My aunt asked if anyone wanted to go to a hockey game tomorrow. My husband agreed to go. Ok. No biggie. He then started talking about how he didn't want to agree to go just in case he got held over at work. So I simply said, I'll go. (We could have a sitter and my husband actually agreed to let me go instead and get out of the house finally.) Everyone looked at me and said no, you have a baby!
What in the actual fack kind of double standard is that?! Everyone was all slap happy if hubby was going. The second I speak up, no. I calmly, ok not calmly, but I made it known that he too has a baby! And isn't the only one allowed to have a life. Am I overreacting? Or was that just a load of bull. I have sat at home my entire pregnancy and still sit at home all day now. Am I selfish for wanting to just have ONE night to myself, finally?
End. Rant. 😐
