This guy likes me, and he's sweet and smart. He compliments my intelligence before my looks. Overall, he's a great guy A+ except for 1 thing- he's my bestfriends ex. She claims she doesn't care but I still feel guilty ? Help.

I think it depends on the circumstances of the break up, but I'd stay away as a general rule. There's tons of people out there, no reason to pick up your friends' exes.

Every guy i dated that was from school was someone or anothers ex. Maybe not a best friends ex but in general its like, after a point it doesnt matter. If she says its okay, then it should be ok. However if no matter what, it makes you uncomfortable, dont pursue it. Theres tons of guys out there

I did this once...but this guy only saw my friend one night a while ago and we ended up having a 2 year relationship only thing was i did ask her if it was okay before and she said yes blah blah blah and ended up never talking to me again because she was mad I was with him, even though she said it was okay. It's one thing to do it behind her back, But you let her know AND she said she didn't care so I would go for it. She can't ever say you were fake and did it behind her back.

Be a great best friend and tell her. Don't let her find out from someone else. Talk to her and explain that your feelings are getting really serious for him and you just wanted to let her know, because you do value your guys friendship.
