How soon after having your baby did you have sex? I'm 4 weeks PP and my husband won't stop begging for it but I know your suppose to wait 6 weeks

My doctor said whenever I was comfortable to just use a condom and he has been  mfm specialist for 30 years. I waited 3 weeks after my first, 4-5 after my second (both vaginal) and a week after my third (c section) I was comfortable though and ready, honestly. If your doctor said wait the full 6 you better just wait.

Just wait its only a few more weeks you will both survive

Drs tell you nothing inside the vagina for a reason they dont want to see your butt back due to infections that can turn deadly the place where your placenta was attached to your uterus is a big open wound it needs to heal it is very susceptible to infections not to mention your cervix is bruised you just pushed a baby through it even if you had a c section which is classified as major surgery still same after care you risk opening your incisions and bleeding out internally which is deadly if its not stopped in time

You are also at risk for getting pregnant every easily esp for the first few weeks you are still very fertile the first year after birth

Your drs and nurses dont stress absolutely nothing in the vagina just to sprinkly pixie dust
