not dilated at 37.5 weeks, induction more likely?

I just got checked at 37.5 weeks and am not dilated at all. I know you can't predict labor or due date based on this, but for any moms with previous deliveries, is it more likely to have to be induced if I'm not dilated at this point?

You can literally go from 0-10 in an hour.. dialation means nothing until in labor. You've got a while just relax, stressing won't make baby come any faster itll probably do the opposite tbh.

You could still have a whole month left. I wouldn't be thinking of induction yet.

Not at all. I was still barely 1cm at 40 weeks and went into labor on my own. Dilation means literally nothing until you're in labor.

I was barely a fingertip dilated a few days before my water broke and i went into labor. My son was born within 4 and a half houra of my water breaking. I went from barely dilated to fully dilated within a few hours

You've got a few weeks left probably and even if you didn't, dilation doesn't matter until you're in labor. Don't stress. If they haven't talked about induction or any concerns then you're fine.
