How does your OB do it?

Question

Do they go by your LMP or early ultrasound? I have my nurse intake appointment on May 17th and then will be scheduled an regular ob appointment later never was it mentioned they will do an early ultrasound. My lmp was march 20th but didn't test positive till April 22end.

My OB called me first and went off my LMP but she will be doing an ultrasound in a couple day to adjust due date if needed.

Mine does lmp because they don't do ultrasounds until 20weeks

At first it's by lmp. Then after they do an early ultrasound they may change the date if there is a significant difference. My dd was 12-9 first and then 12-15 after ultrasound.

Well me for example, I went to my first appointment & they asked me when was my LMP, which was March 10th, but when I went for a second ultrasound, the baby measured a week smaller, so they are going by the size of the baby!
