Do you wake your baby up from their nap just so you won't miss some mommy/baby get-together?

Baby is 5 months. He didn't wanna nap when I wanted him to and now he's slept through a mommy/baby thing I wanted to go to. Oh well, I guess. I really hate waking him up. And he needs his naptime.

I usually schedule things around nap time. And unless it's for a medical appointment or for travel, then I wake her. But otherwise nope

We will absolutely not wake baby for any reason other than sleep training. No no no. My dad used to hover over me and make noises until I woke up.  This made my mom a crazy person. No way

Nope! I've missed play groups, dates with other mommies and swim lessons too! It sucks but everyone understands and no one gets upset and they all run by the same rule that you never wake a sleeping baby! 
The only time I'll ever wake her is if I have to make it to a medical appt but that's rare.

Try working with baby. When he's up, Make that your mommy-baby time and when he's sleep make use of it by getting the stuff done that you couldn't when he's awake.

We are on a pretty strict schedule so I will wake him up from naps if we have something planned.
