help?? ovulation test question

Why is yesterday's ovulation test line darker than today's? Did I already ovulate?? I had eggwhite cm about two days ago and yesterday but not today.... I'm so confused?!?! Luckily I had sex Thursday and Saturday night but still.... I'm confused.

For you to ovulate both lines need to be the same colour or the test line needs to be darker.    Your urine may have been a bit more diluted. Who knows? Just keep testing and do it at night/ evening.

I knew the lines had to be matching to be ovulating, I just didn't know if it mattered that one line was even lighter the next day, even if the lines weren't already matching. I have drank quite a bit of water today so I'll keep testing! Thanks
