Is there a trick to getting your baby let you look at their teeth?

I want to see if my son's second tooth is coming in but he will not let me look!

I turn the camera around on my phone so she can see herself and I'll say smile and she does and I snap a picture really quick or I'll try to put a puff in her mouth and when she's got her mouth open I'll take a picture and then give her the puff

We hold him upside down (one parent holds while the other searches). He loves it and thinks it's a game. You can also try letting him lay on your knees with their head off (like upside down but supported) if you don't feel comfortable. Haha. We sound like great parents. 🤔🙄😂

My son likes to chew on anything and everything so I give him a (clear) glass cup to chew on and then I can get a good look inside his mouth while he chews on it.

Pull down his bottom lip. Works every time 😊 It's get them to open their mouth and stick their tongue out. I also do this when my son puts something in his mouth he shouldn't.
