non painful contractions anyone?

This is my second baby so I feel like I SHOULD know this...but I don't. I've been in labor for basically two weeks. Last night I had about 4 hours of contractions that were 3 minutes apart and a minute long. They were extremely uncomfortable,period like, but nothing earth shattering. Like I had to scrunch my face up but didn't feel like out of control. I also felt a ton of pressure with each one...similar to how I felt when I actually needed to push with my daughter. I didn't even call L&D Bc I had a feeling it was false. And I was right...we'll it's happening again! and I'm wondering how true these contractions can possibly be? I didn't have any with my daughter until my water broke...well actually I did but they felt like Braxton hicks. So I truthfully have NO clue what early labor feels like. And I'm hoping and praying I'm in it...if anyone has had the same experience I would love to hear!
