Sleeping In Tampons?¿

My mom told me when I was young to never sleep in a tampon because of TSS. Is sleeping in one really that bad?

The chances are low but it could still happen to anybody. If you choose to do this then it's recomended that you don't sleep with super absorbent tampons because this increases the chances of getting it and to have it in for the max of 8 hours. For some this means they have to wake up at night to change it out and for others who only sleep about 8 (not getting enough sleep) hours that they can leave it in all night. Then there's the people who just don't care and wanna take their chances. For whatever you decide to do, goodluck

I sleep with mine in and I typically sleep all the way through the night and I haven't had any problems. I change right before I go to sleep and as soon as I wake up.

For me, yes yes yes yes yes it would be a HUGE problem. A lot of the time I sleep for more than 8 hours and I can't use an alarm because it doesn't wake me up.

No, it's not.. I sleep with them and I haven't had any problems with them.. But I also get up and go to the bathroom a lot in the middle of the night..
