Am I crazy? Applying for a new job while TTC.

My current job is okay, but I just found out about a new and exciting job opening. Am I crazy for applying for a new job while TTC?? Ugh. I want an exciting career and to start my family. Is trying to do both at once nuts?

Ttc doesn't change your skill level as far as I know. Go for it!

It can take up to a year to TTC but 1) I don't know how long you've been TTCING and 2) you have to work a year at your job before you qualify for FMLA.

Let's just say that you do end up being pregnant pretty soon and you get the job, you won't qualify for FMLA which means you might not have a job to come back to after you have your child.

Also, you won't even accumulate enough sick and vacation hours by then so you might run out of income quick even if you save.

These are some things you should think about before moving on.

I went on a job interview when I was 9 months pregnant and ended up working there.  So go for it 😊
