I tried going for a run when I was 4 weeks post partum. BAD idea. My hips hurt sooooo bad after that. I was so afraid to start exercising again. I was still running my average mile up until I was 39 weeks pregnant (which lead to a pressed nerve in my foot so I couldn't walk until after having my baby), so I thought I should be fine going right back to it. Girl, our bodies really do go through some crazy stuff during birth! It doesn't matter how much you stayed fit during your pregnancy! I tried again at 8 weeks and I was so out of breath. It took me a while to get back to it. I was consistent working out again at around 12 weeks.

I'm doing 21 day fix on beachbody on demand. I just use it with my amazon firestick and I have access to those workouts and a billion more! Yoga, Pilates, even a postpartum workout in the active maternity workout!

Started back at the gym at three weeks pp...took it slow till I felt comfortable...just listen to your body and don't try to push too hard till you feel comfortable with it.

Ok I was thinking of waiting until I see my doctor again since I still have backaches from the epidural but I'm going to take it easy and not overdue it.

We walked around the neighborhood every other day after we got home. I started running again at 8 weeks PP.

Started daily longish walks about two weeks pp but didn't do much else until about 7 weeks. Then I started swimming. I plan to start running again very carefully in the next few weeks (currently 9 weeks pp) - my pelvic floor took quite a beating during pregnancy and delivery, and I d don't want to risk permanent damage.

4 week pp I started walking and 2 months pp I started running. Then around 4 months pp I started going to crossfit.

I'm waiting until my 6 week check up before doing any real work-outs but I've been out walking and hiking since like 2 weeks. I plan to do the 21 day fix once I get the all clear from my doctor.
