Vote for Country or self?

So do you vote for what you need or what society/ country needs?

I am pretty privileged where I am from so I vote for parties which will help the less privileged and would create a  better country in the long run. What about you?

I vote for the party that will take steps toward establishing equality and bettering the nation as a whole in the long run.

I vote based on which candidate promotes science & which candidate looks out for women.

Women's Health, Marginalised Groups and the Environment are my main areas.

I have knowledge enough to know what others do impact me at least indirectly.

Generally what benefits your country will also benefit you, so both. But I make my judgements with my personal highest values, and the things that affect me most, as a priority for the most part.

I vote for myself. However, my actions that I want for myself, I want for others around me. So I guess both in a way?

My main concerns are environmental so I would say country.

I vote for what's good for all and those that need the help more than others.

In some ways I have my own self interests in mind. Women's rights would be an example of this. Largely, I try to consider the good of the country and people who are less privileged than I am.

I don't vote. Haven't had a candidate come along yet that I can fully support, so I have never registered. But when it comes down to it, I'd vote for the person who I felt could not only help me, but do what's best for our country as well.
