when to throw a baby shower

I'm a FTM and I'm not sure when would a baby shower be appropriate? Like how many months or weeks should I be by the time I have a baby shower ? I don't want to throw a baby shower super late in my pregnancy or early .

Mine will be at 28-29 weeks because I want an October baby shower, I'd rather have a fall shower than a winter one. 🎃👻

I was 35 weeks but it ended up being exactly one month from when he was born. He came a few days early :)

I myself is a FTM I will be having mines next month at 30 weeks... Don't wanna be to hot since I'm due the end of August...

Sometimes there's a good reason to have it on the earlier side.. i am having mine at 24 weeks because I have to drive 4 states away for it and don't want to be super uncomfortable in the car or risk going into labor in another state 😏
