What to get a 14 yr old boy?!?

Hey ladies,
My little brother is graduating eighth grade and leaving for boarding school soon. I'd love to get him a gift, but I have NO clue what! Any ideas?!
He's very outdoorsy and enjoys all that stuff but really has everything he needs for those kinds of activities. I was thinking of maybe a hydroflask, but he has water bottles.

I know this is probably quite odd but my brother is 13 and has a small grappling hook for multipurposes. He climbes trees, walls, we go boating sometimes and it works as an anchor too..

Since you mention hydroflask, maybe a camelbak? I'm not too outdoorsy, but on any of my trips where I'll be out in the heat (whether it be disneyworld or some excursion while on a cruise) I love having my camelbak. Either I use it by itself or I stick it inside another backpack that's bigger.
